In an increasingly connected world, digital surveillance rapidly encroaches into our personal lives. As the fuel of the 21st century, data is what governments, corporations, and everybody in-between go after. As the first generation where all of our decisions, experiences, and relationships have been documented online, the youth of today are especially vulnerable to digital surveillance.
Youth for Privacy is a youth-led and youth-centered group advocating for privacy. Our mission is to raise awareness of privacy through education, outreach, research, and advocacy work. We want to re-conceptualize what it means to have privacy in this digital world.
