Everyone is talking about AI. But how does AI work? How does it use our data to power its magic-like wonders?
Returning for the second year, the Data Values Bootcamp is a virtual workshop tackling the intersection of privacy, technology, and data values. For one day, we will listen to lectures from experts, participate in interactive workshops, and bring together a young community of changemakers to learn how AI and privacy collide. About the Bootcamp
Target Audience: Young changemakers (16 - 30) around the world interested in responsible data, privacy, and AI
Aim: We want to equip young people with adequate understanding of AI and start conversations among their community on responsible AI use
Network: We want to create a network of young people who care about data privacy and foster this movement
Certificates: We will issue certificates to participants who attend the full day of the bootcamp.
Host
Youth for Privacy is a youth-led and youth-centered group advocating for privacy. Our mission is to raise awareness of privacy through education, outreach, research, and advocacy. We want to re-conceptualize what it means to have privacy in this digital world.
Data Values Project is a global movement sparking dialogue and catalyzing action to ensure a fair data future for all. Together with 350 people across 63 countries, they’ve created a shared vision and manifesto for change on data values. Now we must make this vision a reality. Lightning Talk Speakers
